2013-2014 Funding Distribution (1st Year of Funding)

  • $1,000 to purchase Reading Street 2013 Grade K Readers for the entire school district.  This program will provide independent readers for each child during small group instructions.
  • $500 for the Middle School reading incentive program.  These funds will allow for special assemblies as a reward and motivation to students.
  • $500 to Persuasive and Informative Text Library Resources for the High School.  This will bring the current collection which is 7 years old, up to date.  These reference books will help students meet common core requirements for researching and writing through book sources.
