Grants

Grant AwardGrant requests are due February 1st.

Grant Request Criteria:

  • Submitted by a paid staff member of Prairie View USD 362.
  • Submitted with the approval of the corresponding Principal.
  • Submitted with a letter of support from teacher, principal, community member or coach.
  • Submitted with supporting documents if applicable. (i.e. diagram, school board approval, estimated bill, contactor/donation approval on company letterhead)
  • Submission does not request funds for already budgeted items.
  • Submission helps to fill a void in the services provided to the students at Prairie View USD362.
  • Submission can not exceed a request of more than $5000.00.

Keep in mind that the Educational Foundation has its 501(c)3, and can now apply for grants to help
with funding requests.

If you are awarded a grant.

Grant Award Criteria:

  • Grants will be awarded to the staff member at the teacher in service before school starts in
  • August with presentation of a check & photo.
  • Submit photos of the grant funding in action.
  • Provide a small discussion of how the grant provided a needed request.
  • Submit photos & discussion to pvef@pv362.org.
  • These will be shared on our website & Facebook page to help promote our cause.

Once you have been notified that you have received your grant, please submit the ordering
information to Janet Reynolds at the LaCygne Library.

NOTICE: Deadline to claim your grant will be December 31st of the same year it was awarded. Failure
to comply will forfeit your grant award and you will have to reapply the following year.
